ADASTRA is a National level Technical symposium conducted by the IEEE students' branch of SreeNidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST).The underlying thought in organizing such a Technical event is to provide a common platform for information exchange among various students all over the country.

ADASTRA, conducted every year in mid Febraury,attracts students of diverse technical fields from all over the country .It is a 2 day symposium comprising no of events which test the acumen and technical prowess of a student.

The word ADASTRA is a combination of two latin words:
"AD"-Towards and "ASTRA"-stars. We, at the IEEE students' branch of SNIST have always believed in reaching out to the stars in our constant pursuit of excellence,and through this symposium,we hope to spread our enthusiasm and zeal to everyone.

ADASTRA-2004  was a grand success with students participating from all over the country and we wish to carry forward the spirit in ADASTRA-2005(i.e, ADASTRA'05).
